Notes on the space: Saugerties Farmhouse

Nestled precisely between Saugerties and Woodstock, this former farmhouse quickly transitioned from an Upstate getaway destination into a permanent Catskills home. While the intention for this living space evolved mid-project, honoring the character of the 170 year old house remained a central commitment. Wide plank hardwood floors and vaulted ceiling beams birthed in 1850 extend a warm welcome to newer additions, from a handsome American White Oak sideboard to a vintage Turkish rug living out the next of its many lives.
