Notes on the space: Boerum Hill Flat
Putting down roots in a tree-lined Brooklyn neighborhood after a near decade in the East Village warrants a shift in one’s interior surroundings, similar to the energy that has shifted outside. In this new home, rich wood and woven upholstery mix with black powder-coated metals to blend warmth with modernity. Deep indigo and pomegranate textiles in the sitting area echo color from saturated acrylics on the wall, while allowing the space to remain bright and airy. The partnership between color and neutrals, vintage and contemporary, and efficient and investment pieces fosters an environment that can flexibly grow and develop over time.
